Dear Students
We
are pleased to have you as a part of our program. It is our mission to provide
a safe, nourishing Islamic educational environment that encourages, growth
learning and Islamic values. The purpose of this handbook is to provide
information regarding the rules and regulations that governs the school
activities. These rules were formulated by the school board in order to lay a
strong foundation for our school in the years to come, and to achieve mutual
goal as students, parents and school. Please spend a few minutes to read this
book complete.

The Break
There is a 5minutes break between the
classes.
Fees & Tuition
$7 registration fee for the year and $28
monthly fee
Persons of the same house hold (mother
and daughters) will be charged the following rates: 2 persons - $40.00 per month, 3 person’s
$50.00 month.
The tuition should be paid in advance the 1st
Sunday of each month
If students miss classes during the
month; they still responsible for payment for the entire month.
If the student for any reason can’t pay
the 1st Sunday of each month, she has to talk with the treasurer
and make arrangements.
Students are not allowed to attend
classes without payment of tuition or having made arrangements.
Admission
Minimum age requirement
The student should be a female of at least 15
years of age mature not requiring behavior monitoring or redirection.
Registration
A complete
registration form must be submitted along with the appropriate fees
Once registered
for school, students are making a commitment to attend all the classes for the
whole school year.
Rules of Behavior and Discipline:
1.
Coming on time to school dressed according to the Islamic laws of dress (lose
fitting clothes with the hair covered)
2.
Show up on time with prepared assignments that fulfill our responsibilities as
well as bringing the necessary items including homework notebooks writing
implements and textbooks.
Absenteeism
Every
student may have an opportunity to miss days of instruction. However, attending
each week is encouraged and only strengthens the lessons and creates continuity
for the student and learning environment. The following are the absenteeism
guidelines:
Regular attendance is required
In the case of any absence, the students must
provide the principle with a note stating the reason for the absence signed by
the student. The note should include (a) full name of the student, (b) date(s)
of absence, (c) reason, and (d) signature.
A total of 3 absences per semester in considered
acceptable and any student exceeding this amount without valid reasons may
result in a change in the student’s status. The student may be unable to take the
final exams and graduate.
Homework for the absent days must be completed
and returned to Teacher
Being 15 minutes late 4 times for a class is
considered one absence

Emergency
School Closings
If for any reason the school needs to be closed,
the school will make the following efforts to inform the school community:
An emergency phone chain will be organized by
the staff/student teacher connection.
Someone will call each student either late at
night or in the early morning to relay a message regarding closing of the
school.
